World Cup Soccer offers basic skills training program along with the popular game of soccer. Each session for the 5U-12U (birth years 2018 – 2011) players will start with a structured 30 minute group skills and activity period, followed by small-sided games against other teams in that age group. All sessions follow a documented progressive curriculum, headed by our trained staff assisted by parent volunteers.
Parent volunteers are needed in order to make this program work.
Volunteers are the heart of the program, along with our instructors, the volunteers will work with the participants and the program lesson plans to help each player improve their soccer skill set in a fun and safe manner. It only take a few hours twice a week to enjoy the relationships you will build with this young athletes as well as your own child. A preseason coach’s clinic will be held to distribute curriculum and review all sessions.
Risk Management Checks:
All volunteers/coaches will be required to complete the process for a NYSWYSA Risk Management background check.
