Lakefront SC Academy

Our Lakefront Academy will provide the opportunity for players to participate in supplemental training sessions designed to
promote skill learning that will improve performance in games, and foster a love for the game.

We will offer the program in 3 blocks of 5-week sessions throughout the winter (November through March). Each block will be held on Monday nights at 5:00 in our indoor facility, 865 Publishers Parkway in Webster.

At training, the groups will be separated by the following factors: age and/or ability and size. We do this in order to create the best possible learning environment & experience for the participants. The sessions will be heavy on the technical aspect of the game, however; we will include age appropriate physical work as well as simple decision making within our sessions.

Here are some of the soccer proficiencies players will be working on in our Lakefront Academy:

• Passing/receiving/turning
• Dribbling/Dribbling in space
• Change of direction
• 1v1 attacking
• Ball striking
• Simple decision making
• Finishing
• Speed and Agility
• Small sided games
